Frontier Strategy Group was founded in 2004 by management consultants from McKinsey & Company and the Boston Consulting Group who recognized the growing need for corporate strategic advisory services in emerging markets. The Council on Emerging Markets was created in response to client requests for best practices and a knowledge-sharing mechanism in emerging markets, where executives are forced to make difficult decisions with limited data and visibility into the future.
