Business Development Associate
This one year program targets individuals who have just graduated from college or have worked for 1-2 years after graduation. These individuals must have achieved outstanding performance during their academic study and have a strong interest in emerging markets. Upon completion of the program, associates will be eligible for a position as a Sales Executive based either in one of our U.S. or International offices.
A business development associate (BDA) is responsible for pro-actively contacting the senior-most executives at Global 2,000 companies. BDAs are an integral part of our extremely successful and dynamic sales team, and are responsible for generating new business opportunities for Frontier Strategy Group.
Each BDA partners with a Senior Sales Executive and works to identify and market our services to senior executives, to outline our value proposition to them, and to arrange a meeting with them for their Sales Executive. The BDA will then play a critical role in closing the deals. Requiring strong interpersonal skills, and an ability to quickly understand the business risks and challenges of these senior executives, the BDA role provides a challenging opportunity and significant interaction with senior executives.
Responsibilities:
- Business Research - Determining specific industries and companies that would have a demand for our client's product/service
- Executive Identification - Identifying specific executives to target for sales and developing qualified leads within the respective regions to drive additional sales opportunities through cold-calling and lead generation campaigns
- Marketing - Market to executive prospects via phone and email, and make opportunity assessments
- Pre-Sales Support - Arranging both live and telephone introductory sales meetings between the Sales Executive and the executive prospect
Requirements:
- BA and outstanding record from an accredited university
- 1-3 years of work experience or internships (time abroad is plus)
- Strong career interest in business-to-business sales
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and persuasion skills
- Professional, responsible, self-motivated and disciplined
- Driven by achieving individual goals and providing high quality service
