Sales Associates

The Sales Associate will report to the Head of Business Development & Sales, who in turn reports to the co-Founder and Managing Director of Frontier Strategy Group.  The Sales Associate will be responsible for supporting the sales team in a number of areas including setting up follow up calls, new lead generation and prospecting target companies and managing information in SalesForce.  He or she should be comfortable working in an international setting and around a multi-cultural client base.  Frontier Strategy Group is a high-growth, high energy organization with ambitious plans.   Only exceptional candidates with a demonstrated track record will be considered.  


Responsibilities:

  • Manage the department’s administrative tasks such as putting together meeting planners and reports
  • Update SalesForce on a daily basis with new leads and business development opportunities
  • Prospect new clients through proactive lead generation
  • Train new hires on SalesForce
  • Support Business Development Associate requests as needed
  • Put together sales collateral/packets
  • Prepare information for client presentations and sales meetings
  • Prepare and assist in SalesForce reporting and dashboards
  • Be proactive in looking better existing processes and procedures
  • Assist in project planning for Council on Emerging Markets events

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree from a good school with a high GPA
  • 6-18 months of professional work experience in a goal oriented or quota driven environment
  • Proven history of meeting and exceeding goals
  • Highly organized and motivated
  • Strong communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience in customer service
  • Foreign language skills are strongly preferred

 

Location:

The position is based in our Washington DC headquarters at 1150 18th Street NW, Washington DC, 20036. Occasional travel is a requirement for the successful candidate (c.3 days a month).
