Richard Leggett, Chief Executive Officer
Richard joined Frontier Strategy Group in January 2012, to serve as CEO. He is a recognized business leader with 20 years of global information and financial services experience. Prior to FSG, Richard served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Business Intelligence Advisors (BIA), an independent investment research, advisory and analytics firm. Prior to BIA, Richard ran the ISS Business Unit at RiskMetrics Group following its acquisition of the Center for Financial Research and Analysis (CFRA), a leading independent research firm where he was President and Chief Executive Officer. Earlier in his career, Richard served as a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs in New York and London in both the equity research and investment banking divisions.
Alex Turkeltaub, Co-Founder and Co-Chairman
Alex co-founded Frontier Strategy Group in 2005 and has served as Chairman since 2009. Prior to
starting FSG, Alex was a consultant at McKinsey & Company, where his work focused on the
extractives and banking industries. He holds BA and MA degrees in International Relations from
Stanford University and a JD from the Yale Law School. Alex was born in Moscow, Russia and
immigrated to the United States with his family in 1988.
Alex Gorbansky, Co-Founder and Co-Chairman
Alex co-founded Frontier Strategy Group in 2005 and has served as Chairman since 2009. Before
FSG, Alex was a consultant at the Boston Consulting Group, where his work focused on the
natural resources sector. He also worked in strategic positions with Loudcloud and EMC
Corporation. Alex holds a BS in Financial Engineering from Stanford University and studied
international relations and globalization at Magdalen College, Oxford University. Alex was born in
Lviv, Ukraine and immigrated to the United States with his family in 1987.
Julia Alexander, Chief Product Officer
Julia oversees FSG’s product offerings and strategy. Julia previously served in the Office of the
Chairman at Goldman Sachs, working with the CEO on client relationship management and
emerging markets strategy. Julia is Co-Founder of GoMa Ventures, an emerging markets social
venture fund, and a fellow of the Truman National Security Project. She holds a B.A. in International
Relations from Stanford University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Elaine Erchak Fide, Chief Financial Officer
Elaine is responsible for all financial and information technology strategy and operations. Prior to joining FSG, Elaine was the Chief Financial Officer of Atlantic Media, a publishing company whose
magazines include The Atlantic, National Journal and Government Executive. Prior to Atlantic
Media, she worked in public accounting for both Ernst & Young and Arthur Andersen where she
served a variety of public and private clients. Elaine graduated from the University of Virginia
earning a B.S. in Commerce with a concentration in Accounting and is a Certified Public
Accountant.
Eleanor Thorp, Head of HR/Recruiting
Eleanor is responsible for the attraction and retention of talent for FSG. Prior to joining FSG,
Eleanor worked in Europe and New York at the executive search firm Whitehead Mann. She focused on the acquisition and assessment of talent across a range of geographies and industries, primarily in the CPG and pharmaceutical sectors, with a particular focus on entrepreneurial companies. Eleanor graduated from Jesus College, Cambridge with an M.A. in Classics and Social and Political Science and is a member of the Royal Society for Asian Affairs.
Hoyun Kim, General Counsel
Hoyun is responsible for overseeing all corporate and transactional legal matters. Hoyun has
advised Fortune 500 companies, growth stage companies, and startups in commercial transactions, real estate deals, financial restructuring, and litigation. Her industry background includes hotel development, Internet publishing, consumer technology, information technology, advertising, and retail. After starting her legal career as a litigator for the U.S. Department of Energy, Hoyun went into private practice with a number of prominent Washington, DC law firms,most recently Venable LLP. She received both her law degree and B.A. in English Literature from
The George Washington University.
Anil Prahlad, Senior Vice President and Global Head of Research
Anil oversees research teams for all emerging markets that FSG serves. He was formerly at the Corporate Executive Board, where he was Managing Director of Global Strategic Research in the finance practice. He has authored over 25 major publications covering supply chain, corporate finance, accounting, and corporate strategy. Anil has an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Business, a Masters in engineering management from the McCormick School of Engineering at Northwestern University, and a Bachelors degree from the Indian Institute of Technology.
Todd Marcelle, Senior Vice President, Sales-New Business / Commercial Operations
Todd oversees global business development and commercial operations. Having joined Frontier
Strategy Group in January 2008, Todd has held progressive leadership positions across the commercial organization overseeing global client services and international operations in London and Singapore. Todd has more than 8 years experience in building, leading and scaling sales organizations positioned for high growth. Prior to joining FSG, Todd served in senior commercial positions at LRN and the Corporate Executive Board, where he led the commercial efforts for the Finance Practice in the western half of the United States and Australia. Todd started his career in investment banking. Todd earned a B.A. in Finance and Marketing from Fordham University where he graduated cum laude and was recognized as a G.L.O.B.E International Business Scholar and inducted
into Beta Gamma Sigma (National Business Honor Society).
Mike Murray, Senior Vice President, Sales-Renewals
Mike oversees Frontier Strategy Group’s commercial organization with the primary responsibility of maintaining FSG’s renewable revenue base. Mike’s team manages the Company’s relationships with clients, and is responsible for delivering value, renewing contractual relationships and driving contract growth through the introduction of new products and services. Prior to joining FSG, he was VP of Sales Comperemedia, North America, for Mintel International. During his time at Mintel, Mike led the realignment of each regional team to focus on growth markets and rewrote the compensation structure to incentivize desired results. His career in the information services and data industry began at GIGA in 2000 as an Account Manager. GIGA was acquired by Forrester, where he then served as a Director of Sales. He earned a B.A. in Arts and
Sciences and graduated with honors from the University of Dayton.
David Braccia, Senior Vice President, Platform Products
As Head of Platform Products, David is directly responsible for the growth of MarketView and developing new product initiatives. He has over 15 years of product development and management experience across various industries including Financial Services and Technology. Prior to joining FSG, David was Head of Product Development and Operations at TheMarkets.com, where he was responsible for creating and managing strategic enterprise wide web products and building new business segments servicing
institutional investors. He was instrumental in building TheMarkets.com from an organizational and
product growth perspective that led to a successful sale of the company to Capital IQ, a Standard
& Poor company. He has a B.S. in Accounting and Management Information System/Decision
Sciences from George Mason University.
