Based on the participants’ shared concerns, the Council on Emerging Markets brought the executives together into a small peer cohort designed to help them to share insights and best practices on common issues. Through the peer cohort these participants:
- Convened on a monthly basis via teleconference to discuss their respective challenges and to seek advice from their peers in the cohort
- Shared insights and best practices around ethical workforce issues such as monitoring policies and creating new incentive structures for local managers
- Shared feedback with each other on which corporate policies were realistic and unrealistic to institute in the region.
